Valentine’s Day calls for a love potion to serve up to your sweetheart to make the occasion festive! Shake things up this year by serving a strawberry pistachio elixir with hints of rose that heats things up by adding crushed pink peppercorns.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Yield: 1; 10 ounce servings
Glass: 10 ounce coupe glass or martini glass
Prepare the garnish by placing honey on a shallow dish and then mixing the pistachio, rose petals, and peppercorns on another shallow dish. Dip the rim of the coupe glass or martini glass in honey and then rim it with the mixture of the minced pistachio mixture. Set to the side.
In a shaker, add the remaining pistachio mixture and pour gin over. Fill the shaker with ice and add pistachio liqueur and jam. Shake vigorously until the shaker is frosty and the drink is frothy. Pour 2 ounces of soda water into the shaker and gently stir.
Strain the drink into the prepared glass. Serve with a skewered heart-shaped berry.
